Safe Homes for Survivors emerged in 2015 as a powerful force for good. After escaping abuse, many survivors have nowhere to go. In 2015, grassroots groups launched tiny home villages and transitional shelters where people could feel safe, begin counseling, and plan for a stable future.
By connecting individuals and empowering them to act, this initiative fostered not only change, but renewed purpose and optimism for all involved.
As this movement spread, it united donors, volunteers, and recipients in a circle of support. It proved that thoughtful, local solutions can ripple outward and uplift entire communities.
